Your bloods came back normal. You still don't feel right.

A Blood Test Analysis is fifteen minutes, one-on-one, with a Clinical Nutritionist who reads the results you already have and shows you where your numbers are actually sitting. No new test. No referral. Just your own results, explained properly.

This is nutrition support, not a diagnosis, and it sits alongside your GP's care rather than replacing it.

Inside the range isn't the same as where you'd want to be sitting.

The range printed beside each result on your report is a reference interval. Pathology Tests Explained, which is run by Australasia's pathology bodies, describes it as a comparison between you and the general population. That's all it does. It was never built to tell you where you, at your age and with your history, would want that number to be.

So you can be sitting at the very bottom of a range, or right at the top, and the report still reads "normal". Nothing gets flagged, and you get told everything's fine. If that's you, you're in very good company, and it's why we wrote about being tired when your bloods came back normal.

A printed pathology report lying on a sunlit timber table with a pen resting across it, a pale blue mug and reading glasses beside it
Your own results, read line by line. That’s the whole appointment.

Ferritin is the clearest example.

Ferritin is your stored iron. Most labs only flag it as low somewhere under 15 to 25 micrograms per litre, according to a 2025 guide in the Australian Journal of General Practice. But Australian Prescriber uses under 30 as the level that picks up iron deficiency in adults.

So a ferritin of 22 can come back unflagged and still be under the line Australian guidance uses. You can check what your ferritin result means yourself in about a minute.

That's one marker. In your fifteen minutes we read each number on your report the same way: against the narrower ranges the research on that marker points to, and against your age, your health history and how you've actually been feeling. Then we tell you plainly which numbers look fine, which are worth keeping an eye on, and which are worth taking back to your GP.

The pattern I see most often is a woman in her forties who arrives having done bloods with apparently "nothing found" and a long list of symptoms that she's been told is due to "her age" or "stress".

How a Blood Test Analysis works.

  1. Order

Add the Blood Test Analysis to your cart and check out. It's $79, and there's nothing to post.

  2. Send your results

We'll email you straight after. Reply with your results as a PDF or a clear photo of each page.

  3. Book your time

Pick a fifteen-minute spot that suits you from the booking link we send.

  4. Talk it through

Your nutritionist has read your results before the call, so the whole fifteen minutes is yours.

Blood test results we can explain

  • Full blood examination
  • Iron studies, including ferritin
  • A full thyroid panel, with antibodies if you've had them done
  • Blood sugar, HbA1c and fasting insulin
  • Liver enzymes
  • Anything else that's on your report. If it's there, send it

What it isn't

  • It's not a diagnosis, and it doesn't replace your GP or specialist
  • We'll never suggest changing or stopping a medication. That's always your prescriber's call
  • If a result needs medical follow-up, we'll say so and point you back to your GP
  • It doesn't include a new blood test. You bring the results you already have

Buying a test as well? Add this to it.

A genetic test shows the tendencies you were born with. Your bloods show what's happening in your body right now. Read together, they tell a much fuller story than either one does alone.

If you're ordering the Energy Blueprint or any of our functional tests, add the Blood Test Analysis to the same order. We'll add the fifteen minutes to your results consultation, so it's all read in one conversation.

Just want your bloods read?

That's fine too. You don't need to buy a test, and you don't need to be a client already.

Blood Test Analysis FAQs

What do I get for $79?

Fifteen minutes one-on-one with a Clinical Nutritionist, by Zoom or phone, going through blood test results you've already had done. Your results are read before the call, so the time is spent on what they mean for you, which numbers look fine, which are worth watching and which are worth raising with your GP.

Which blood tests can you look at?

Any standard pathology report from an Australian lab. The ones we read most often are a full blood examination, iron studies, a full thyroid panel, blood sugar and fasting insulin, and liver enzymes. If it's on your report, send it.

Do I need a referral or a new blood test?

No. You bring the results you already have. If you haven't had bloods done recently, your GP is the best place to start, and we've written up what you can and can't order without a referral in Australia.

How do I get a copy of my results?

Ask the clinic that ordered them. You're entitled to a copy of your own results, and most GP clinics will email or print them for you. Many results also appear in My Health Record.

Is this a diagnosis?

No. A Blood Test Analysis is nutrition support. It doesn't diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it doesn't replace advice from your GP or specialist. If something on your report needs medical follow-up, we'll tell you to take it back to your doctor.

Can I add it to a functional test I'm buying?

Yes. Add it to the same order as the Energy Blueprint or any other functional test, and we'll add the fifteen minutes to your results consultation so your bloods and your test results are read together.

What if fifteen minutes isn't enough?

Fifteen minutes comfortably covers one set of results. If you've got years of reports or a lot you'd like to work through, we'll tell you, and you can book a longer consultation from our services page afterwards.

Can I claim it on Medicare or private health?

There's no Medicare rebate. Some private health extras policies contribute towards nutrition consultations, so it's worth checking with your fund.
